When we feel overworked we tend to lose our confidence and become irritable or withdrawn, making us less productive and effective. If the warning signs of work stress go unattended they can lead to bigger problems thus making it necessary to identify them.

Signs and symptoms of excessive job and workplace stress

Get moving to de-stress

Physical relaxation

Mental Relaxation

Meditation

Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed

Muscle tension or headaches

Apathy, loss of interest in work

Problems sleeping

Dependence on alcohol or drugs

Stomach problems

Social withdrawal

Anger, Frustration, Fatigue

Unable to concentrate

Here are some of the basic techniques to help us relieve stress:

Get moving to de-stress - is the mantra here - Improving physical fitness (which can be achieved by walking five kms. A day, aerobics or yogic asanas,) “tones and hones prevents moans and groans” – So make sure we have a sound body if we want a sound mind.

Physical relaxation - can be achieved by physical training of muscles (with the help of experts), a nice relaxing body massage, and shavasana (lying like a dead body).

Mental Relaxation - can be achieved by shavasana, meditation, listening to soothing music, reading humorous literature, or even chanting mantras like “Aum”, or “Hanuman Chalisa”, or saying prayers with beads or rosary.

Meditation - another important relaxing technique for the mind. “Dharana and Dhyana” also known colloquially as meditation, are very useful in combating stress but are not easy techniques to master.

Breathing Exercise - Breath is equivalent to 'Prana' or life. When someone gets a brilliant idea, he is 'inspired' and conversely when someone dies; we say he has 'expired'.

Every workplace gives us stress and everyone has various ways to handle stress. Stress can't be controlled but our ways of handling can surely be. It's all in our mind after all..

As of today this social networking behemoth has more than 500 mn users and is valued on the secondary market at almost 50 billion dollars and seems to have won the war for the social networking as comprehensively as Google won

the search war. There is an increasing group of people claiming that it is not just the battle for social

networking but is in fact the war for internet dominance once and for all.

From the evolution of time, humans have tended to form communities and live in groups & it is this universal reality that Facebook aims to emulate on the web. But it does not take into account one simple fact. All the communities in our life have been defined by us and we would like to keep them separate. E.g. I would not like my relationship status to go to my mother but would like to send it to my friends. Thus as the social networking online evolves, people would like it to

mimic their real world communities and this is not something that Facebook is good at doing. It tried doing a solution of sorts with Facebook Groups but it did not exactly hit the bull’s eye.

Another aspect of user behavior that is going to come into play is that no one wants to spam their friends every time they discover a social network with better functionality and there is going to be an increasing clamor for contact and information portability that is going to substantially decrease switching costs and make it easier for any new start-up to take on Facebook.

Another part of the web that seems to be slipping away from the control of Facebook is the

open web i.e. sites like twitter where people can be heard and can follow anyone. The implicit model of Facebook does not allow it to do this.

Facebook is a great product and definitely a great business but at the end of the day, like any other business it can be defeated and the best part is that it can be done by any one, well nearly anyone

<div style="text-align: class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Well after a very looooooonnnnnnggg time, it took a literary novice like me to reignite our blog with this sensational article :). Since 2009, lots of water has flown under the bridge but I’m very happy that ALL of us have something to cheer about (jobs, higher studies, salaries, etc.). Some of us are very busy personally (‘GARY, SHANXX’, ‘MISHU’), technically (‘BHATIA, PRUSTY’) or professionally (‘KANCHAN & only KANCHAN’). Some of us are still confused about our destiny (SINGH & I)

Which started as a normal 10-12 guys group @ hostels of JIIT is now dispersed worldwide, determined to bring down the respected organisations that we are serving. We always had this talent (ORANGUT, OPERA & JIIT of course), now we are just applying it on a global scale.

Most of our followers!! thought that we might have ran out of ideas that is why we stopped posting articles on our blog. The TRUTH is, we were SMART enough to sense that during the economic meltdown Google will not be able to pay us for the adsense thing. And we didn’t want a company like Google to go bankrupt.

So guys to sum up, it’s time to post more and more sensible articles like this one (BIMMY IS NOT WELCOMED HERE). You can start with sharing your experiences after getting out of college, about your workplace, or just simple writing nice things about me (this topic will be enough to fill pages :)). ALSO please don’t forget to click on the advertisements on a REGULAR BASIS. Let’s all work together in making BHATIA a rich guy (because the account is on his name). Good luck and stay in touch with other in an ungay manner.
Mohithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02463329920386667375noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-81876323373527109162009-07-05T21:38:00.002+05:302009-07-05T21:41:30.084+05:30Xbox 360 laptop

See this new creation, it has the following features:

Digital pushbutton volume control rather than a clunky knob.

Two user USB ports.

Built-in Ethernet port, finally.

Built in WIFI adapter, as usual.

Flush-mount DVD door and side panels (such as the memory card slots)

IR sensor for the remote control.

More air holes!

Jasper motherboard.

Mohithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02463329920386667375noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-10047827906943392152009-07-02T20:10:00.002+05:302009-07-02T20:13:46.459+05:30Bollywood's InspirationTop directors, actors encouraging this form of plagiarism ( means illegal copying and presenting as one's own idea)

GHAJINI VS MEMENTO (2000)

Chak De! A better solution to this problem is Registry hack.

This Registry hack is very simple. Remember to back up your Registry before you make any changes to it. A Registry with errors can cause your system to run slow, crash, or even not boot at all.

1. Go to Start and search for regedit. Windows XP users will have to go to Start, Run and type in regedit then click okay.

2. Expand the following on the left menu tree:
H_Key_Local_Machine
Software
Microsoft
Current Version

3. On the right you should see a registry key that is called RegisteredOwner. Double click this key and you can change it’s value. This will change the owner’s name.

4. If you want you can also change RegisteredOrganization also. And the most useful FUSE is the NTFS-3G Read/Write Driver, which ables system to load NTFS with read and write capability. This is truly the greatest news for dual booting Mac OS X and Windows XP or Vista.

Without going into great deal of technical details and compilation of the source code, I found out users around Internet already came up with binary version (in DMG) of MacFUSE and ntfs-3g, ready to install (credit to ShadowOfGed at AppleNova). Here are the instructions on how to use MacFUSE and NTFS-3G. It does require a little of administration skills as it involves running commands in the Terminal.

MacFUSE/NTFS-3G works for me, but as this is an experimental software, so back up your data, and try it at your own risk.Harryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05881216807329214725noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-91172351157423432972009-04-12T23:48:00.005+05:302009-04-13T00:02:55.526+05:30Is your computer infected by Conficker??
The worm, Conficker, has infected millions of PCs all over the world and has turned into a nightmare for security experts. Turn off or disable your firewall when you play using hamachi. If you are using the Windows firewall, remember to turn it off from the Control Panel.

If turning off firewall doesn’t work, try setting exceptions for ‘Half Life Launcher’ from within the firewall program.

2. Run Hamachi. Click the last button and choose Preferences. Then click Window and check the Show “Advanced…” peer menu item checkbox and click OK.

3. For every new player who joins your networks you have to do the following steps:
A. Right click the player’s entry in Hamachi
B. Click Advanced.
C. In the Peer VPN alias box enter the first three parts of your Hamachi IP address (example: 5.46.80) and add the last part of the player’s IP address ( example: .190) so that it makes a new IP address.
D. Click OK and then exit Hamachi. Launch Hamachi again.

4. Launch the game. Click Create New Multiplayer Game option and start the game. Other players can connect to you as long as you have set an alias for each of them.

To join a CS CZ game:

1. Download and install Hamachi. The free version is only needed.
2. Run Hamachi and click the Create or join networks button and choose Join existing network.

3. Enter the username and password of the network you want to join.

4. Turn off your firewall (or disable it). Remember to turn it back on after you finish playing.

5. Run CS.

6. Press the ~ key on the keyboard. It is to the left of the 1 key on the top row of the keyboard.

7. Type connect 5.40.30.122 to connect if I am hosting the game. If someone else is hosting the game look at their Hamachi IP address and use that instead of mine.Or you can type the hamachi name instead of the ip address

8. The game will connect and you can start playing.

Errors:
If you get a Class C error, the host has not set up Hamachi aliases correctly. Ask the host to read the section below. If you cannot connect to the game for any other reason it’s a problem with your firewall. Else open CS console and type "ip (your HAMACHI ip address)".Harryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05881216807329214725noreply@blogger.com23tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-14638125788222294972009-03-29T14:59:00.001+05:302009-03-29T15:34:17.754+05:30Voice Over : New feature of Ipod ShuffleVoice Over is latest stunning feature of new ipod shuffle.
The above mentioned feature makes ipod as the first music player that talks to you.
with a press of button voice over tells you about the artist, genre and various other features of the song without interupting your listening.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 287px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi76fpeCd38jy-BW40TskZTQCh4nQhtuLtMCj6wQUa9LnY74FRYFWZ6omreicv0ZLpeC6mpoRDco_dFoe3QWkoAZvGIXetsNtdPmMEmPysoo8J8GaDdLLD7WRzPcXvWkeUvXS_wzYLbjrw/s320/ipodshuffle_image4_20090311.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318548215349945506" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 271px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXK5MEzp7Sy2L4A2EHGrerrVeZMUmCyp9Nezw8la8AO0EIK5qWgPk8oWLFqPelDBjvsZn7Zb8cyjNCT_xopIqUcks8JXYURuY7hUGamlueWKbo2GRiUN6NixrDeGig0BgWzFkEskp_yrM/s320/ipodshuffle_image1_20090311.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5318548210947678834" />Chinmayhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04477531880858124633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-3995349674671568752009-03-28T23:34:00.005+05:302009-03-28T23:42:14.626+05:30Fastest Web Browser
Evil Science has published Internet Explorer vs Firefox vs Opera vs Chrome vs Safari, which contains the results of an extensive competitive speed test between five popular web browsers.

The author is an Opera user who discovered that his favorite browser has slipped to the #2 spot for performance.

The author rates each browser in nine different categories. If you love sci-fi movie then this notebook is definitely right for you, “kidding!”. Personally I love watching sci-fi movie specially if Aliens are involve :D. (enough silly talk). This model from Alienware the Area-51 m15x was release in November 2007. Inside of this amazing notebook lies a powerful Intel Core™ 2 Extreme the first 15′4″ notebook to have this technology. It come’s with NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800M GTX for brilliant gaming experience memory is upgradeable up to 4gigz “thats a lot of RAM” and also I like the Idea of illuminated keyboard and scroll pad. So basically if you like windows application, an avid windows XP or above user, full 3D (human likeness) games and looking for a powerhouse laptop that will knock ordinary laptop then this notebook is right for you. Beside of it’s slickness and elegant design Apple has their own standard Operating System the MacOS, and probably the best Operating System out in the market. “Okay enough phrases on the design what matter’s most is the inside”. So let’s examine deep inside and what powers MacOS to operate. No prima donna, its demands are modest.

When it comes to features, Opera has always been a trailblazer, leaving Firefox and IE to play catch-up. For example, today's Firefox 2 saves your session in the event of a crash, so you can pick up where you left off when you recover. And you can save a group of tabs as a bookmark -- a feature that's new in both Firefox 2 and IE7.

Guess what? Opera pioneered these features back in Version 7, which was released in 2003. Crash or prematurely close Opera and it's no loss, just relaunch for an instant encore. You can also save your browsing sessions under the File menu on the menu bar. And in Version 8, Opera added a trash can icon to the page bar where closed tabs and blocked pop-ups are saved, just in case you need them.

Opera continues to lead the way with every major upgrade. Version 9 introduced thumbnail previews, which make it easy to find your way among multiple tabs -- just hover your mouse over any tab to see a thumbnail image of the Web page. Also new is the content blocker. See something you don't like on a Web page -- an ad or an offensive image, for example? Just right-click and choose "Block content" to make it disappear. Opera remembers your choice, so the next time you visit that page the content remains blocked.

Opera 9 also incorporates Widgets, small Internet applets that run directly on your desktop and can be saved on your system for quick future access. There are games, newsfeeds, reference tools, image tools -- even a text editor. Mac OS X, Windows Vista and Yahoo have similar offerings, but the beauty of Opera's Widgets is that you can run them directly from the browser without having to have a Mac or get Vista or download Yahoo's Widget Engine.Mohithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02463329920386667375noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1722762710313076243.post-1893472852043327802009-03-17T12:21:00.002+05:302009-03-17T12:23:54.883+05:30Still in a light mood .....continuing with my previous post, here are some more questions :

[1] IF YOU HAVE SEX WITH A PROSTITUTE AGAINST HER WILL, IS IT CONSIDERED RAPE OR SHOPLIFTING?

[2] CAN YOU CRY UNDER WATER?

[3] HOW IMPORTANT DOES A PERSON HAVE TO BE BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED ASSASSINATED INSTEAD OF JUST MURDERED?

[4] WHY DO YOU HAVE TO "PUT YOUR TWO CENTS IN"...
